CURSILLO MOVEMENT MINISTRY
Members of this ministry launder the linens used for Mass (it is separate from the “Altar Care Ministry” that cleans the church). Depending on the number of members in the ministry, volunteers are assigned (1-2) specific months throughout the year to wash and iron the linens. The linens are picked up and returned weekly throughout the entire, assigned months. These include linens used during daily and weekend Masses—towels, purificators, altar cloths, etc.). Laundering involves washing and ironing the linens after the weekend Masses and returning them before the following weekend. Special care is used in washing linens that are stained with Precious Blood.

EPHPHATHA CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP
The purpose and goal of our ministry is to bring the children of God together to experience the Holy Spirit who opens us to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and the love of the Father. We seek to encourage the awareness and the experience of the full role of the Holy Spirit among Catholic Charismatic Renewal groups which leads to inner transformation, and most importantly, to foster the dynamic grace of baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5) which empowered the members of the early Church at Pentecost. We also assist in leadership development as well as serving in key parish committees such as African Council, Pastoral Council, and other ministries.

Secular Franciscan Order (SFO)
The SFO is for lay members who have the desire to live more fully a Gospel way of life in imitation of St. Francis. Professed members are not called to leave their world (families, friends & jobs), but to transform it through shared prayer and Christian service. Those 18 years or older (married or single members of the laity and Diocesan clergy) are welcome to learn more. Members must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church. There are 3 stages of initial formation: a) Orientation, 6 months (exploring the SFO through discernment); b) Inquiry 6-9 months (looking at the process of becoming a member of the SFO); and c) Candidacy, 1-2 years (journeying with the fraternity to find out if God is calling you to live the Franciscan Way of Life). Formation times may be extended but not shortened.
