Pastoral Care

Caregiver Support Team

Group of volunteers working together to offer practical, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals and families with health care concerns or other special needs. A team approach provides volunteers with maximum time flexibility, a built-in support system, and the opportunity to offer a variety of skills. A team's activities may include transportation to the doctor or grocery store, household and yard chores, errands, meals, social outings, visits, phone calls, or a time for caregivers to have respite or break and much more.

Funeral Ministry

Provide and serve a meal to family and friends after the Funeral Mass or burial. In December, we deliver roses to families who have lost an immediate family member during the year. Provide a meat/vegetable dish, a salad or dessert on day of funeral.

Grief Support/ Funeral Follow-Up

The purpose is to contact parishioners who have lost an immediate family member during the year and see if they need any assistance from their parish family and to make sure they are doing ok.

Ministry of Care

Ministry of Care members visit those in Southern Regional Medical Center (SRMC), nursing homes, and those that are home-bound for the purpose of sharing the Eucharist, prayer, and companionship. Must be a Eucharistic Minister and be readily available to make visits to SRMC, nursing homes or the home-bound.

Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in any of these Ministries, 770-478-0178
